May 2025, the club held it's day trip down Harvey way. 12 members and visitors attended this day trip. The weather gods were kind to us. Blue skies all the way.

We left Harvey onto Honeymoon Rd and into Harris River State Forest on the way to Stirling Dam.

Headed off in the direction of the pine plantation, where a steep track was there for those who wanted to try. Tracks were in reasonable condition, but still some very wet spots to be negotiated. Back into the bush areas with some washouts and dips and rough spots to deal with. Dust at times was an issue spreading the convoy right out.

At Logue Brook dam we had lunch and watched the jet skis and boats. Heading off we fond some tracks that the bush was quite friendly at times with our vehicles, but the shrubs were quite soft, so no cries of anguish.

Back on the powerline track which was very dry and dusty, but had lots of rutted sections. After here was a lovely drive through a hilly section of the track with the cleared bush letting us enjoy some great views.

Shortly after we arrived at the Harvey-Quindanning Rd, we had our farewells and everyone made their own way home, some stopped at the Wokalup pub for a feed and a cold beer.
